Description To Books Always on My Mind (Christiansen Family #4)

After a failed dig in Honduras, aspiring archaeologist Casper Christiansen heads home to Minnesota to face his unresolved feelings for Raina Beaumont, the woman of his dreams. But when he arrives unannounced on her doorstep, he receives the shock of a lifetime: Raina is pregnant with someone else’s baby.

Heartbroken, especially when he discovers the identity of the baby’s father, Casper tables his dreams and determines to be dependable for once, helping his older brother, Darek, prepare the family resort for its grand reopening. Casper longs to be the hero of at least one family story, but a never-ending Deep Haven winter and costly repairs threaten their efforts—and the future of the resort.

Worse, one of Casper’s new jobs constantly brings him into contact with Raina, whom he can’t seem to forget. A tentative friendship begins to heal fresh wounds, but can they possibly overcome past mistakes and current choices to discover a future together?

Write-Up Regarding Books Always on My Mind (Christiansen Family #4)
Not since Karen Kingsbury's Baxter saga have I been so engrossed in a book series. In the Christiansen family, author Susan May Warren has created characters who are realistically flawed yet wholly likeable. (With the exception of youngest son Owen who, at this point, isn't very likeable at all. I have no doubt he's redeemable, though!)Casper Christiansen and Raina Beaumont's story, which began in When I Fall in Love, takes center stage in Always on my Mind. Casper and Raina are both lost souls,

This book was awesome, but it was also difficult. Raina and Casper's story was a rough one, but so worth it. I feel it's the mark of an excellent author when they can take their characters through some really difficult and draining things and you want to go with them, even though it's not always a fun ride, because you're invested and it's worth it. I enjoy reading these novels because I always learn something right along with the characters. The great thing about the Christiansen family series

Get to know the Christiansen Family!Meet Casper, middle-child, aspiring archaeologist and general "fixer".He still carries a torch for his one time love, Raina Beaumont...who just so happens to be carrying his brothers child.Things get really complicated from there as Raina tries to distance herself from Casper, but he isn't giving up so easy.A dangerous new relationship, a hunt for a historical treasure and life altering decisions will keep you enthralled from start to finish.Casper has to

I enjoyed these characters and the fact that it was easy to believe in their relationship and storyline because their story started in the last book. However, in a way that doesn't suit my style, there was no whirlwind story to get swept up in. Things were falling apart for multiple people and the story seemed like it was happening to normal people. It was a good read, just not with the same emotion that I am used to finding in Warren's past works.

What can I say about this book? I have no words to describe how magnificent I thought it was. There is a different feel to this book than the other three in the series. While each book, so far, has dealt with some pretty heavy issues, they have managed to remain positive and bright (in my opinion). This book, however, was hard to get through because it was so sad! That didn't diminish my enjoyment, just made me have to pause from time to time to get my bearings and it made the ending so much

So good. Review coming soon!

Truer words could never have been spoken when talking about Casper Christiansenand we might as well add Raina Beaumont. They appear to be star-crossed lovers and it might just take a miracle (or two) for them to get their heads on straight and find their path to love. Casper is so caught up with his feelings of inadequacy and failure that he almost misses
