Their fake relationship is a twist of fate.

Sabrina Cassidy believes in fate. So when her fiancé breaks off their engagement, she’s convinced they’ll get back together eventually. But fate was not on her side when it brought Jack Brenner into her life—and work. Frustrating, gorgeous, and cocky, Jack has an offer that Sabrina can't refuse. Not if it means getting the life she’s always imagined.

Despite being one of the town’s most eligible bachelors, Jack has a reputation that’s working against him. He has to convince his father—and his company’s board—that he’s ready to settle down if he wants a promotion. But convincing Sabrina to be his fake girlfriend turns out to be the easiest part. What he didn’t count on was their intense attraction and how easily their lie would escalate. Sabrina’s still hung up on her ex, and Jack will never settle down. But fate has other ideas…

Judge Out Of Books Fiance by Fate (Anyone But You #1)
3 ½ stars. The first half was really good. The last third or so was common and predictable. There is the big-misunderstanding-break-up because they dont tell each other how they feel. That conflict is so overused in romance. I wish the author did something different. But it was a happy ending and still worth reading. My favorite romances have a couple starting out not liking each other, which is what this is about. I enjoyed the arguing and insults. Then it was fun to see them slowly change their

I've been on a chick-lit kick lately, and this is a fun one!Sabrina Cassidy is sure that stable, family-oriented, handsome and kind David is her destiny. He was her fiance until he decided he needed a temporary break. Her parents died when she was young and she was raised in different foster homes - never feeling like she belonged. So she really craves a family of her own, and is willing to do just about anything to get her fiance back.Jack Brenner is passionate about his family and his father's

I think this book was supposed to be cute, but to me any book that evokes feelings of pity for the heroine aren't that great IMO. I am all for clueless, adorable heroine, but this one just seemed deluded and kind of sad. The heroine was a product of the foster care system and wants a family bad. So when her fiancee who she has been with for 3 years asks for a break, she is happy to but still builds air castles of their future. She is deluded, and thinks they are fated, even when he seems to be

Funtasmic! The characters were great! And I really enjoyed the unique plot with the superstitions. Poor Sabrina is hung-up on the fiancé (or ex fiancé) and ultimately gets help to win him back from the last person she wants: Jack Brenner, her boss's son.The interactions between Jack and Sabrina were fun and highly charged. So glad I got a sneak peak at this book before it was released!

This is a great sweet romance that I didn't want to put down. It's fun and light and the banter made me laugh out loud. Ive got to say that I normally wouldnt pick up a book about a woman who visits a fortune-teller to find out whether her on-hold engagement will be on again, but I was impressed by how the author mirrored readers differing perspectives with those of various characters. I love how the attraction snuck up on the hero, and how believably the romance evolved between these two

I really enjoyed this funny and romantic romance! Sabrina's superstitions lead her to believe her finance (who just broke up with her) is THE one and that they are meant to be together. The problem is how to convince him that.Enter one sexy and witty Jack Brenner from her office workplace. He just so happens to need to change his reputation of a playboy and who better than little Miss Perfect Sabrina to help him. They end up in an agreement to help each other win their own goals, but end up with
