Chronicle In Favor Of Books Friends and Traitors (Slayers #2)
The Slayers – teens who have powers to fight dragons—are back by popular demand in this high-octane sequel, now with a new cover package!Tori is at a White House dinner party when she hears a horrifying sound: dragon eggs hatching. It means in less than a year, the dragons will be mature and dangerous. The Slayers are well-trained, but their group is not yet complete, and Tori is determined to track down Ryker Davis, the mysterious Slayer who has yet to surface.
What Tori doesn’t bargain for, however, is the surprising truth about her powers: she isn’t a Slayer after all, but a Dragon Lord, with a built-in predisposition to protect dragons, not kill them.
How will she overcome this to save the lives of her friends?

Really excited to see what happens next. This book was even better than the first, because the familiarity with the characters lets Hill (and the reader) have a bit more fun. I like the moral conflict of whether or not the dragons should be killed, and what side Dirk and even Tori should be on.Loved it, even if all of the characters didn't have very big parts, it was still amazing! The things they have to go through in order to protect themselves is crazy! I love how the romance can still continue!
How long have I be waiting for this book? It feels like forever. I'm so, so happy it finally made it's way to me. :)I think I may have enjoyed this book even more than the first. That's saying something good for this book because usually second books in the series are not quite as thrilling as the first. But, not this one. It was just as good, if not better. There are a couple things that I really love about these books. First, the pacing. The story flows so well and I never felt the need to

Received this book as a giveaway and actually quite enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting too much out of it, and I can say that I'm sure I missed a lot of what was going on as I have never read the first book in the series, but I can say that this felt like a solid second entry.I definitely enjoyed the concept of the dragon slayers and thought the overall story was fun. It feels like a pretty standard YA series, so if that's what you're into then you should enjoy this book.
C.J. Hill blew me away with the first book in the Slayers series. Modern dragon slayers and real dragons in our everyday world is just brilliant! Her characters were all real and interesting, and had the coolest abilities. I definitely want to be a Slayer. ;) I was excited to receive the newest book, Friends and Traitors. Already from the title I knew it would be full of suspense and conflict. I wasn't disappointed.Tori returns eager to learn more about her Slayer heritage, but time has run out.
So, so good.I'm pretty sure I have a weakness when it comes to summer camp books because I can never not put them down. When you have a summer camp book about dragon slaying? Written by Janette Rallison?? I. AM. SOLD.I'm usually hesitant about reading sequels because they never live up to the first one but I didn't have to worry about that here because this one picks up where the last left off (more or less). In this one, Tori is dealing with her conflicting feelings for Dirk versus Jesse. I'm
Guys I am not sure what to say about this one. OMG. This is the best sequel I could ask for. Tori comes back but this time you get to see from multiple perspectives. What happens when the dragon eggs hatch. Tori hears them cracking but doesn't expect anything because the boy who can see what the dragon sees says he doesn't see anything. Figuring out who is the traitor, who to love, and who can help them they set out. Ryker has to be the only hope, only he has to stay until he is 18 because his
