3.75 starsI'm kind of torn over this one. On one hand it had really pretty art, but not much substance. Neither Chiwa nor Hokuto can communicate with each other, and they never say what they really mean, which leads to so much drama. But the drama is kind of fun, even if so much of it is contrived.

Super funny! If you have strong feminist sensibilities though, you may not like it. Also, I definitely only recommend for mature high schoolers and up. Just some sexual content stuff.

Warning: There is a scene in this volume that I found really offensive. During a disagreement, Hokuto holds Chiwa down and touches her in an intimate way--WITHOUT CONSENT. That she doesn't seem to mind is baffling. Hokuto is attractive but he doesn't have many redeeming qualities. He bullies Chiwa, sometimes physically grabbing her in a way that causes her pain. Anyway, I might stop reading this series.

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first volume. So much of this could have been cleared up with just a conversation.

Still good but I can't see how 10 volumes will keep my interest.

The Hero goes like this:then the heroine is like...

I feel terrible for loving this but I doooooooo.
