found the story a little slow moving, but I still enjoyed the book. Leilani is driving home from work late one evening in a bad neighbor when she sees a man being mugged and beaten. Taught at a young age how to handle a gun Leilani pulls over and scares off the men beating Justin on the ground by pointing her gun at them. They run off and Leilani gets Justin into her car and takes him to the hospital for his injuries. Later that day at the hospital Leilani meets Justin's family, She finds thatI love a good romance mixed with mystery and that is exactly what I found in Welcome, Reluctant Stranger. Although this is the third book in the series, you can read it without being lost. Each book is based on a different love story, with some of the characters from the previous books appearing in this one. The story is that of Leilani and Justin. I found the book to be very intriguing. It had romance, mystery, politics, and family struggles. The author did a great job of writing and intertwining all the elements into a story that you just couldn't stop reading. You had to know what was going to happen next. There was just enough suspense to keep you guessing. As it turned out, it was somewhat predictable but not completely. It was an easy, fun read and I would recommend it to all who like romance and mystery novels.
