I bought this book after getting the first book in the series, The Light Tamer for free. I really enjoyed the refreshing storyline and found the characters very likable & interesting! There are some flaws in the writing, but I found myself so engrossed within the story that I read right past them! I am now left wondering what happens next and anticipating finishing this Light Tamer series when additional books come out. Great storyline- thanks for leaving me hanging! :-)

I personally am a big fan of the original books in a series, but Enlightened by Devyn Dawson blew me away! If you enjoyed The Light Tamer than it is a MUST that you read book 2 in the series, Enlightened. It picks up right where The Light Tamer leaves off and from the very first chapter had me wishing for book 3 already! Well Devyn Dawson just took this book and blew me out of the water! She is knows how to keep this Book Nerd wanting more!Best part of the book: HELLO THORNE!! Miss Gayle is soo funny. I catch myself laughing out loud at how she is. :)Especially when her and Jessie were shopping at wal-mart and thorne was walking around the store guarding her and they were at the bra and underwear section. Haha. I hope the 3rd book brings a little bit more about what role Amber plays. Hers is the only one that isn't really explained that much. Again the 2nd book left me at the edge of my seat looking to search out to see if the 3rd book is out yet. O.o
