Column Of Books Pan (The Untold Stories of Neverland Book #2)
★★3.5 Stars★★I sped through Pan in a midnight's blink. Precious, dreamy, and fun enough to be addictive, but it's over ridiculously soon. It leaves so much desire for full bloom, like a rose you know could be dazzlingly beautiful, but stops budding halfway through. It's frustrating.Pan is actually the second novella in the series after Hook, which I didn't realize before it was too late, but it still made sense within its own sphere so I suppose it doesn't hurt to read the first two out of

K.R. Thompson is a wonderful author and uses words to create this wonderful picture of Neverland and it's characters . I enjoyed how Peter came to be in Neverland. I cannot wait for more stories from the adventures of Neverland.

A while back I had an idea for a story I wanted to tell and as this story tossed and turned in my brain I realized it might make a good Peter Pan retelling. But then I remembered Ive never read Peter Pan, and Ive only read one story based on it. So I went on a downloading binge, snagging every free fairy tale and Peter Pan related book I could find on Amazon. I promptly forgot about them, and there they sat on my Kindle, until I was motivated to read them by the retelling and backlist challenges

I really loved Hook by this author so of course i had to read her version of how Pan came to Neverland and i can tell you i was not disappointed at all. This author hooks you right in and keeps you reading and wanting more, her descriptions and details are always spot on. Her covers of course are gorgeous as well.

As Peter Pan is my absolute favourite book of all time, I just had to pick this one up.Unfortunately, it fell very flat for me. The book is being advertised as an 'origin story'. However, the characters are all brought in with minimal backstory and their development is very lackluster. The few major changes Peter goes through, are brushed over and the book ends very abruptly. Before going into this book, I was considering to pick up the rest of the series, but now I'm not so sure anymore. Really
